ReplyDeleteConstantino’s Wasabi Borscht
A half a head of Red Cabbage
One Red Onion
Six Beets
One half cup (or to taste) of Balsamic Vinegar
One half cup (or to taste) of Brown Sugar.
One-Two quarts of Water, as desired
One Teaspoon of Salt
One tube of Wasabi Paste.
Chop up all of the vegetables and put everything into the pot except for the Wasabi Paste. Boil and simmer as for a regular soup.
Important! At serving time, empty the tube of Wasabi Paste into the soup. Wasabi looses potency with heat and time. Serve immediately.
