This post really makes me want to move back to the country. Preferably the same town as my parents, about an hour north of Montreal. I'm expecting this to be another idea of mine that never actually materialises, as it would take a lot of planning and work. I don't think I'd want to keep the job I have now because that would require commuting back and forth to the city and I DON'T want to be stuck doing that. So I'd have to find another job over there, and they're scarce. With only a high-school diploma, that limits my choices further. That's one problem. The other is that I have no driver's license, which would be a must-have living there, unless I live right in town and can bike everywhere.
