Ok. Phew! I called Info-Sante and they said there's no rabies in Montreal. The last reported case of rabies was in Monteregie about 2 years ago. He said he was sure I didn't have it.

    Yes, you do have to keep new cats separated from existing pets until the vet gives the okay to let them mingle. I've had sad experience with that one. Think I'll post about that soon...
