I really want to go see a sleep specialist now after reading this. I don't have any psychiatric disorders thank God, but this has got me thinking about whether or not I'm getting any quality sleep, rather than quantity. Read the first page of comments too.
Update: Yay! I actually gathered up my courage and asked my supervisor to take some time off to go to the doctor (I'm shy about little things sometimes for no reason lol, she's actually very kind and understanding). So we agreed that I'd go on Monday morning, I'm eager to see what the doctor will say :D
