GO MAKE THAT SOUP!!!!

Ok people go out and make that senegalese peanut soup I posted about earlier, I just made some and it is SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!! OM NOM NOM NOM NOM

*goes to have a bowl*

Seriously! Go make some! NOW!

Edit: I didn't put any jalapenos or cayenne pepper when I made it, please leave them out if you don't like spicy stuff! Oh, and I used about 3 times as much mild curry powder lol. Maybe the stuff I had wasn't that flavorful? Anyways adjust to your liking!

  1. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I've been eating off of it for the past three days and have yet to grow tired of it.

  3. I LOVE curries, so this is high on my list of recipes to try for Lent. It has gotten good reviews from anonymous cooks. :)

  4. I made a second batch on Saturday with shrimp and scallops, so good! And this time I had leftovers to freeze :)

  5. I loved the soup, but my husband gasped all the way through his first spicy bowl, and I hadn't even used the maximum number of jalapenos. After that I served it as a sauce on vegetables with rice, and that was less intense, but still, it may be a little hard for us to digest. It's a wonderful lenten dish, I think!

  7. Made it last night with shrimp. No carrots so I used a yam sliced about 1/4" thick. No jalapenos but some Chinese pickled hot green peppers. I added the lentils and some mung beans to it instead of making separate rice. Oh. My. It is good!
