Here's some delicious avocado salad my MIL made yesterday, and my favourite tomato pizza from Dolce Piu. The salad is really easy to make, just cut two avocados in half, take the pits out, slice into wedges and then cut the flesh out of the skin and roughly chop into 1-in cubes. Put in a bowl with 1 small chopped tomato, half a small diced onion, some salt, the juice from a quarter of a lemon, and a glug or two of olive oil. Mix it together and serve. Alternate versions that I've tried and liked: replace the onion with apple or asian pear, the lemon juice with rice vinegar, and mistake the mirin for rice vinegar and add a bit of that too :P
