It would be nice

Right now I wish I could one day raise some Berkshire, Tamworth, Duroc or Mangalitsa pigs, to make my own cured and smoked meats in my own smokehouse attached to an outdoor wood-fired pizza oven. And bake my own artisan bread and make my own cheese, have a vegetable garden and cats and a few hens too.

  1. I can totally relate. My wife and I have started container gardening and getting some yield, but we are itching to be able to plant in the actual ground! I have started making my own cheese which is not that hard to do if you are not making aged cheese. We want to raise chickens (maybe other things too). I'll pass on the cats, but as long as my wife has a say, there will always be at least one of those...
